Ball Anemone or Majano????

That's a ball anemone. They are safe and pretty cool.

Yes it's a Ball anemone. I had several at one time.

Good glad to hear it i have like 4 or five in my tanks, never noticed them before just started appearing recently, why is that?? the tanks have been set up for well over a year, the only things that have been put in them recently are frags, and i mean small frags on plugs???

They've most likely been there all along, just weren't open for whatever reason.

Not to sound totally silly... but it is the ball ends that are the big difference, right?

Yes and also they are not aggressive towards your other corals and will not take over like Aiptasia.
