Baffle Height

I wanna get this glass cut before I leave work today so I'm wondering what height I should use. Bottom to the rim is 15 1/2" so I was thinking baffles after the skimmer at 12", middle 2" off the bottom. After that, I'm doing a small fuge, mainly for chaeto and a little rock, and was thinking of 2 baffles at 10"/ea with the first set flush and the second set 2" off the bottom. Do yall think this would work well?

Nope. But I was thinking...do I need to do the third baffle after the skimmer a little shorter?

Just make sure the height of your baffles falls within the required water level for your skimmer. Otherwise you'll need to make a small stand for it.

Yeah, I read that and may have to shorten them. But if I do like the picture, does the third baffle need to be shorter so water can cascade over that one?

Every sump I've ever made had the baffles all the same height but, if you want the past one can be cut shorter
