Babies?

Can snails or crabs have babies in our tanks?

I looked in my tank this morning and the was the area of grayish blackish things moving around very slowly. I thought at first they may have been pods, but now I dont think they are. They are still there and they are extremely tiny. They looked like they may have little shells but they are so small I cant really tell for sure.

I think it's pretty common, but most of them end up as fish food.

Baby snails are very common indeed. Don't know about crabs though.

+2 on the baby snails...many of them won't make it, but some will.
