Okay so I Google a few ways to attach my nepthea. These are the ones that appeal to me. Rubble tray- seems easy but to have a rubble tray in my tank is an eye sore. Toothpick and rubber band. Seems easy enough. Stick a Toothpick though and rubberband it to a small rock. And last needle and fishing line. This one seems easy also. Think it might hold better than the Toothpick and rubber band. Out of these three what would you choose or what do you do? Right now I just have it planted in the gravel like a plant but eventually the gravel gets pushed around and the coral is being pushed around the bottom of the tank. No good. Tell me what you think.:) by the way you guys always have such awesome advice!

If you have a rock, you can wedge it in the rock and it will attach itself eventually. If not, of the three you stated, the rubble tray would take a long time, and you risk the coral drifting away. I would do needle and fishing line. When it attaches, you just clip off the line at the edge of the coral.

I tried wedging it in cracks and holes but it seems to always fall out. And the tray would take a long time. I think ill prlly go with the needle and fishing line. When I put the needle through and whatnot do I do it underwater or can I take it out for a min or so and then put it back in the tank when finished? How long can it be out of water?

Okay thanks. Sounds like I have a plan then. Now I can't wait to get home and see if my ricordea stayed put. It attached itself in a glass container and it looked to be attached pretty good so I took it out and kept it in the same area. I'm gonna scream if it decided to float away again.
