Anemone,maybe...

Well,i ordered the light....seems to be alot of mixed opinions on t5's and how many, all over the web..one guy said he uses 4 bulbs but only one is actinic,so maybe i'll tyr that..or maybe use no actinics, would that matter.

I still have my old t-12 strips from my old set-up,so i could throw a couple actinics in those....so if i had all 4 10000k's in the novas that would be good,..yes?

My Uncle(who's setup got passed down to me) had a damn shop light fixture on his tank many many(10+?) years ago with a Lion Fish and Anemones... Ha. Not sure how happy they were but he did target feed them often. (I think they were Pink Tip Haitians?) I was so young back then I don't even know how long they lived for... few months? few years? :dunno:
All I know is that they weren't shriveled up and dying =P

Haha, but when it comes to how much light they really need... :dunno:

I've always heard, High Lighting... I wonder why? Are they photosynthetic too? In that case what separates them from corals?
Kinda curious, haven't done much real research on Anemones :)

Funny you bring up your Uncle, thru all my searches ,i have found alot of old timers talking about what they used to keep and under what lights,or lack there of:lol:

haha nemo, i love this thread, your looking to challenge the rules, which i was thinking about doing with a nem, wanted to see how much of the high lighting idea is true, and if it comes down to water quality and so forth.

I've also read that spot feeding them everyday can really make a difference also..I'm still not 100% sure i'm even going to do it...I'm mean who sets these standards for watts and intensity of lighting...most places just say high lighting, some say the bubble nem only needs moderate, well, what the heck qualifies as moderate??
