hooooray so just tested the silicon for the maine chamber of my sump and it seems to be leak proof.... i left the water in for 10-20 minutes.. perhaps i coulda left it longer but i doubt there will be a leak if there wasnt one already. decided to get 40 more pounds of live sand so gunna do that today... then im gunna fill my tank and hang the lights and wait another day to start the overflow and sump to make double sure its all cured. heres a pic of the sump without any equipment... exciting for me anyway hah

Looks good, great job. Does that middle divider go all the way to the top of the tank?

yea.... as high as it can go anyway. its inverted though its part of the bubble trap.theres a gap at the bottom
