90g Reef Build

As of now I only have the stand & canopy, shown in my "Hey everyone" introduction thread. My 90g tank with corner overflow was ordered through my LFS and will be in on Tuesday.. Ive yet to order anything but Ive put together a shopping list hoping to get some feedback first.. the list reads..

*30-40 Gallon custom acrylic sump from Nextreef
*Reef Octopus NWB200
*Mag 9.5 Return Pump
*x3 Ecotech Marine MP10s (Cheaper than x2 40's)
*x2 Ecotech Radion LEDs w/ Hanging Kit
*x2 200w Finnex Heaters
*100lbs BRS Dry Rock
*100lbs Fiji Pink Sand
*JBJ ATO system
*Neptune Apex Aqua Controller (Complete Setup)
*BRS GFO/Carbon Reactor

Sounds like a great list, but you can save quite a bit money by making your own sump

I will start posting pictures tuesday when the tank arrives.. Also there will be many pictures to come when the new equipment arrives via UPS shortly. :) stay tuned.

I was thinking about a DIY 40 breeder or 40 long, but I want something professionally done, silicone and I dont really get along 2 well, usually get more on myself than I do the actual project.. dont ask.. lol

Looks like a nice tank, but save yourself some money and get a mp10w/mp40w combo instead of 3 mp10s

still under construction.. my MAG 9.5 return pump came in today.. so that will be my next project (plumbing it into my system). Also have a couple more vortech pumps in route via UPS.. will be purchasing my BRS dry rock, radion leds, heaters, reactor, etc. next week. enjoy! I know I am :P

Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted about the 90G build.. Its come along way but still has a ways to go.. here are some updated pictures of how it all turned out thus far...

Still need more BRS Dry rock..livestock corals, and a few other things, but I'm in no rush at the moment.. just working on keeping stable water parameters first. for live stock I only have:

x2 True Perc clownfish (Male/Female)
x2 Blue Green reef chromis.

Water parameters:
0 Ammonia
0 Nitirite
less than 10 ppm Nitrate

Calcium 420
Alk 9 dKH
Salinity 1.024 (Im ok with this, but have been slowly trying to get it up a bit)
Temp. 78.9 / 79.0
pH 8.1
Magnesium 1300ppm
Phosphate 0.03 ppm started running GFO was higher at one time. GFO seems to be working well.
