I finally got my 10K T5 light in with the actinic lights and here are some new pics. I found something live in the tank but I'm not sure what it is, I have included a picture of it and circled it in red. It shoots in and out by itself, it's pretty cool.
and to answer the other question. I think I am going to start with a pair of ocellaros clownfish (who would have guessed with a username like mine, lol)
Is the mysterious thing coming from a tube? If so its a feather duster and a very cool hitchhiker. The other thing it could be is a pest anemone, if so you will want to kill it right away. Google aiptasia or glass anemone and see if it looks like that.
My pair of clowns are doing great! They are darting all around the tank, playing with each other. My hermits and snails are doing good to.
This is such a great hobby!
Only sad thing is that my 2 astrea snails didn't make it, but the 2 margarita snails and 2 nassarius snails are fine. Are astrea snails harder to acclimate or something?
to me they are not really any harder to acclimate then others but they are great cleaners yet they do not have the ability to upright themselves if they flip over, and often die because of that.. and the tank is looking great..:D
