Here is the newest member of my tank! A Copperbanded Butterfly, I’ve done a lot of reading and research on this guy over the last little while and decided to get him. It’s only small now and I think it will do just fine in my tank for a few years until I’m ready to upgrade to a bigger tank. I also made a deal with my LFS that if the fish shows any signs of stress or starts to eat my corals he would take him back. He has been happy since I put him in there darting in and out of the rocks and grazing for food! I love this fish! I also added a devil hand coral to!

I've only had him for a few days, but no not at all. He spends most of him time looking for food in the rocks, he floats up to the corals like he looking for something in the rock then pass right by them. He has bit at the sails when there on the rocks though lol.

I was taking a few last night trying to find a good shutter speed and ISO Level, didn't have much luck though.

I just got back from a 7 day Caribbean cruise and I had a blast. I had a chance to do a lot of snorkelling while I was away to and I saw a lot of cool stuff up close in the wild and man tangs can get big. Anyway here are a few underwater pics from the Grand Cayman where I saw a reef and a wrecked ship.

Your copperband butterfly is awesome, and the pics of the clownfish poking out of the zoas are adorable! Cool snorkeling pics, too!! Thanks for sharing! :)

Haven't seen an update in a while. How's things?

So guys a very long time with no update, soory, I got busy this year lol.
So this is what went down:
Auto top off pump dumped 10 gallons of water onto my floor and I had to replace the ceiling downstairs (This is now fixed and can’t happen again)
Sump overflow about two gallons during a power failure (Bigger sump and can’t happen again)
Firefish jumped out one day which sucked cause he was awesome.
The butterfly died as well, not to long ago, don’t know why right up until the day he died he would swim around and eat fine he loved to come to the front of the glass and look at you. It sucked as well
Fighting some algae here and then put holding my own.
All the corals are growing and doing awesome, except the “pink weed” tries to take over.
My green mandarin is about 4 months old now and doing great he loves to swim around and eats frozen food which is awesome!!!
All my equipment is holding up well, had to put a fan in front of the tank to cool it off a few times this summer, and I think I need some new filters for my ro/di.
Right now im trying to think of the next fish I want, I figure I got room for 2 more, I want a flame angel for sure and not sure what else.
