New Corals Today

I finally was able to get a couple of new corals. I got a Red Lobo and some Green Candycanes. Paid $65 for the pair. Not sure if that's good or not, but loved the Lobo.

My daughter thought the Lobo was fake, with the viberant color. LOL She really likes the Candycanes though.

I'm curious as to when others feed their corals? Being new to the coral part of things, I didn't know if there was a good or bad time to feed them.

Yep!

Most corals feed in the evening.

But they will usually catch on to when you feed your tank.

I feed my corals 2-3 times a week in the evenings (which is when I feed my fish) they will open up ready to feed every night at the same time.

I usually notice the corals responding after I feed my fish. Then when they are opened up I feed the corals.

Some corals will only extend their feeding tentacles after the lights are off. Some corals will eat any time.

Mine extend at night, around 8 or 9ish, every couple of days. Then I shove food is their FACES!
