as far as anthias go, you can keep the majority of them together and they will school. I good combination would be the threadfin (similar looking to Bartletts), Bartletts and purple queens. avoid the lyretail and bicolor together with the others I mentioned. good choice Biff

size and aggressiveness from my understanding. they get almost twice the size of bartletts. They are also the most aggressive Anthia. I would not mix them, but hey, if you are feeling salty, go for it

according to the fish bible. Bartletts get a bit over three inches while Bicolor get over 6 inches. I have seen the adults and they are impressively big

Saltwaterfish.com has dispars at half price.....$12.50 each.Should I take the risk and order from them.Dang,I never seen 'em for that cheap.
 
Purple queens are deep water anthias and don't do well in brightly lit reef tanks. That one is off the table.

Yeah, Freak, I saw those dispars on sale, but I want to get all of mine from the same place for convenience and to save on shipping. And those were the only ones I wanted that they had in stock.

Right now I'm finalizing an order with Reefermadness Home Page. They have a good selection in stock. I'm so impulsive.

I am placing an order now at Reefermadness and another at Saltwaterfish. Here's what I'm getting:

3 dispars
3 lyretails (2 females and 1 male)
3 bicolors

Oh. And 3 red firefish. Just so I can get free shipping :).
 
Boo to reefer Madness,I read there policy.$200 minumum for free shipping otherwise 29.99 for west of the rockies and 49.99 east of the rockies.I hate to have to take a picture if something dies.Hell,the nassarius would eat it before I find the body.
 
Hehehe. I needed $30 more to get free shipping from Saltwaterfish.com - Saltwater Fish, Saltwater Fish Aquariums, Tropical Fish, and Saltwater Fish Tanks. So...talk about going overboard... I got a fox, galaxea, green long tentacled plate and orange short tentacled plate. Yeah, those should cover the $30 ;).

So yeah, 9 anthias and four LPSs in one night. And I have a freakin ski trip to pay for in a month. I SUCK SO BAD! I told myself today that I would NOT do this, that I had to save money now... I lied to myself.
 
So what is the minimum?Is it $79 total or before the processing and fuel charge.All I want is dispars.Did you see those sunset anthias,might pick up one of those.It suppose to be docile.

3 dispars for $37-cheap,cheap,cheap!
