If you move #2 lower in the tank or it came from a tank that it was to close to the lights. It does look bleached and will become dark purple with a neon green mouth. It will turn out to be a very nice piece. Just keep it lower in the tank.

It looked a little bit like this when my friend gave it to me. I have moved it lower and into some shade, but close to my toadstool so I hope I don't have coral warfare. #3 I moved outside of the "sun" a little bit also.

Yep, they can and will come back with the right placement and water parameters.
