Yea you're right I think the pressure from the water will hold it in place. There won't really be any thing trying to pull it away from the glass.

Just took the tank into my living room and set everything up. Just need to throw the pump in and figure out how I'm going to install my float switches.

I have bought a small acrylic shelf at Target and split it in half to use it as controller mounts.

DIY of the day.

I have a few more wires to hang in place but everything is falling in place.
