What's under your tank

I have no idea what you are talking about! Help me understand what you want!

Want? answers damnit! I want answers! actually I was just curious as to the general consensus of "to pad, or not to pad" THAT is the question, for I have padded before, but will I again? should I suffer the slings and arrows of, oh sorry bit of Shakespirianism surfacing there lol

Padding,lets see,,,,
I'd call it a personal choice.:D If you feel safer with the padding, then pad that baby.

The short of it, I use a 1/8" piece of crush board, the white shinny stuff that comes in 4 x 8 sheets. you can actually press it together with your fingers. The reason is because wood is compressible but not consistently depending on the density of the wood, anyways it is used to provide a medium to take up any and all voids and provide a perfectly level support for the bottom of the tank FRAME. I also use light diffuser in the bottom of the tank to help spread out any point loads from the rock. But, as yote said it is personal preferrence.
