what the chances of putting a mushroom in the blender and trowing it in the tank..and getting new mushrooms..

small, the conditions have to be just perfect so that each pieces lands and attaches to the rocks. More likely the blended bits are just going to fly around and die. Also some of them have to get a piece of the mouth to regenerate.

If anyone is ever in NYC they can have some of my purple pulsing xenia. They grow pretty fast in my tank.
