What to use as ATO reservoir?

I was wondering what I would use as a reservoir if I got an auto-top-off unit.

What do you guys suggest?

I just use a plastic tub, there is a pic in my build thread. Doesnt need to be anything fancy

Lot depends on how much water you want it to hold also. you could use a 10 gallon tank, a 20. 35gallon Brute, 55 gallon Brute. those kinda things. How close to the DT is it going to be. Questions that will help in answering your question.

The problem is, I don't have much room. The wall that the tank is against is 8 feet long and the tank is 4 feet.

Little fish, I looked at your build thread and saw the tub. I guess the water will just evaporate out of that if there isn't a lid?

The cheapest way will be to use a rubbermaid container, you can get them in almost any size to fit any space you have for it.
