well like i said ill go to my LFS and see what they have and go from there, when i get to the LFS what should i look for to tell what the best rock is

When I go buy LR the first thing I ask is if it's cured. I look for pieces that have good coraline growth on it. The more dense it is the more it'll weigh and the less room it takes in the tank. Look for pieces with plenty of hiding places. Try and get pieces that will fit or stack well together.

I look for porous which is lighter size for size than other rocks.Odd shapes that don't look like boulders and with at least decent coralline algae growth.

I am happy with what I got from Liveaquaria, but now that I know the LFS I go to now has vats of it. I would have much rather hand picked awesome shapes.
