I came home to find this treat on top of my black spine urchin. It has been looking beat up lately, not sure if this is the reason.. How do I rid my tank of all things resembling this?image.webpimage.webp

I strongly disagree. I hate the bastards. Put some frozen food or shrimp in pantyhose overnight.

They're good unroll you get lots or until they get huge.

If you are getting tons of these guys, you are probably over feeding. Cut back a bit. The pantyhose trick is a trap. The bristleworms get caught in the nylon and then you can easily remove them.

They are awesome scavengers and add to the bio diversity of the CUC. The more bio diversity you have in your CUC the more successful you will be with your tank.

It just depends on whether you feel you have use for them in your tank or not. They can be part of your clean up crew but some people prefer not to have these worms in their tanks.
