What are these tube looking things on my rock?

Not that I have seen. I haven't seen anything pop out of them!

They look like the calcium tubes made by tube worms they are great hitchhikers to have

they look cool. have to say never seen anything like it.
the calcium tubes from tube worms are usually white and fairly rudimentary - these look more intricate. are they hard or soft (poke it with something).

They are white when they are formed, as they age they change color same as LR does. I have had some that were a deep gray and very old tubes. They were also dead.
