Water everywhere!

oh the water flood stories. :) I put floats in my water change cans so when I forget it won't flood.

The best one I have we were doing maint on our 240 so it was cloudy, we decided to put some pillow batting in the sump to clear it up quicker, and forgot about it. We woke up to the fire alarm going off at 3 am. Went down stairs, my husband went to walk into the tank maintenance roomand got a jolt (note make sure your power strips are above your sump not below) Yea almost 100 gallons of water on the floor.

My floods occured because of power outages and the sump overflowing. After the second time, my wife told me no more tank!!!!! So it removed the sump so it couldnt overflow anymore. The first time, I had to replace a few sections of the laminate flooring. Got lucky the second time and was able to clean it up before the floor warped.
