FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of marine meaty foods, marine fish, crustacean flesh, live grass shrimp, feeder fish, feed 3-4 times a week.
AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 10 (Venomous)
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat shrimp and smaller fish.
CAPTIVE CARE - A long lived fish that needs plenty of open space in the water column as well as the substrate, will eat fish and crustacean tankmates. May be kept in groups in large tanks, occasionally an individual may become aggressive towards its own kind or members of the Pterois genus. A bold fish placing it as one of the best species for the shallow and deep water reef aquarium (CAUTION - THIS IS A VENOMOUS FISH).
