The Twins--180

Looks fantastic. Which side is the reef side?
That is hard to answer...I could tell you the south tank, but that wouldn't help it is the one on the right and left...depending on which side you are standing.:mrgreen:So for right now it is the cloudy one because I just add the sand.

That works—We'll be able to tell at a glace soon enough

Alex, they are both drilled. I have two 1" drains and a 3/4" return. They are on the non-touching side of the the tanks. I will try and find a pic of the plumbing. Or better yetwhen the other one clears a bit more I will post a walk around vid.

Was just thinking, how should I handle these tanks as far as cycles? You can see from the pics I have a clear spot in the one tank that I plan on moving some of my LR over. Should I get the cycle going and they move the rock or just move them and that would get it going. We would not be adding anything living till mid Aug at the soonest. We have tank sitter coming by and don't want to throw brand new tanks at them. So what is the best way to handle this? Thanks

Pics or it didnt happen! And we'll get Hannah to test that ban stick :bounce:

(I kid, I kid)
Ok you ask for it! here is the step by step pics of the test.

It is not as high as I thought it would be after a week of being in there so I think I will throw a silver side into each tank. Any thoughts???AM is only reading .25 if that.

Got both tanks almost full. The FOWLR is completly full and cycling through two filter socks. The reef tank will be doing the same by the end of the day tomorrow. I add a silverside to each tank to get the am. up a little more. Then added LR from my other tanks this morning. So here are some pic of where it is at now.
this is the reef tank
