Tank Seals

So I was watching a video about a glass scraper and in the video they were explaining how to be careful near the seal.

So of course that makes sense but I have nicked mine more than once.

I have little chop marks on them and can't help but get them.

How dangerous are they. I mean it isn't in the corners but just that flap of silicone.

You dont need to worry about it, i nick mine all the time.

All of my seals are flaps. I don't know if it's bad long-term but seems to be okay so far.
