Sump & Protein skimmer

I just got a new 72g tank and want to make it a reef tank. From what I've been reading a protein skimmer and sump with live rock in it seems to be the way to go.

The Reef Octopus NWB110 4” Pinwheel In Sump Protein Skimmer seems to fit my needs. Can anyone recommend a good sump to put this in as well as one that can hold live rock?

The Aqueon proflex series is a pretty good off the shelf solution. I have the model 4. The only thing i don't like how is that i don't have the option to put a skimmer before refugium. A lot of people make custom sumps - it just a matter of using a standard tank and putting acrylic baffles in them - ask your lfs to see if anyone does this in your area. I would probably go with this option for future builds.

This is not a stupid newbie question, every question is about preferance.
