sump and skimmer size 90 gal??

Ok i bought a pro clear 125 sump and a 125 super skimmer thinking its enough for a 90 gal and i was reading on the net somewhere it said for a reef system you need double the rated size sump and skimmer is this correct or will i be ok wioth what i have??

You can use whatever size sump you can but, you want to try and go as big as possible. The more water volume you can add to your system the better. As far as the skimmer, as long as it is rated for the size of your system you can use it but, again if you can get one that is rated for a larger system it will be more efficient at clearing waste from a smaller system.

When considering a skimmer, think about the amount of livestock your going to have. Fish create a large amount of waste. So the more fish you want, the larger the skimmer you'll want.
