it seems that i will not be able to procure a RBTA b/c the people that have them are tooooooooooooo far out and the stores are not getting them. what should be my next anemone?

Definitely skip the carpet. They are fish eaters. They'll catch and eat anything they can get ahold of, including their host clown. For real, I saw it with my own eyes once.

Long tentacle anemones are somewhat hardy and sure are pretty.

Sebaes are more challenging, in my opinion...

I would go with the long tentacle.

BTA or GBTA. Seasae's and carpets can be hard to care for, so I would say LTA.

if the rose is not possible, the green bubble is what I have and is easy as pie. Hell, I should just scrape off the one in my work tank for you since I have a long tenticle already. no idea why I have 2 nems in that tank. LTA are really easy as well. good luck

Where do you live? I'm in southern cal, I have a splitting of a rose BTA that I'm contemplating selling/trading for, but I don't know how well it would survive airmail. I've had it for almost a year now, and the split happened in july.
