I have had quite a lot of these. Forget there exact name but they multpuly berry fast like people said. They are bad but only because they eat coraline algie. I have never hurd that they eat polyps though.

I've changed my mind..I believe that's an asterina. I think you're suffering from 2 things in the picture.

1. You've got a quality camera and it's showing every little detail. Which threw me off, because my camera sux.
2. He's flipped over. He's upside down. (that's why we can see the brown color)

He was really tiny, but your camera made him big..crazy technologically advanced cameras.
