FOODS AND FEEDING - Frequent feeding, meaty foods, fresh and frozen seafoods, live grass shrimp, frozen prepared foods for carnivores. Feed min. 4 times a day for juveniles.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat worms and Crustaceans, will stir substrate and decimate infaunal invertebrates. Will eat small bottom fish, will not harm corals.
CAPTIVE CARE - Provide plenty of swimming room, soft substrate for grubbing for food, mature sandbed, house with nonaggressive tankmates, most are infected with intestinal worms and need to be treated for such when 1st purchased. Juveniles have a high metabolism and must be given frequent feedings, if weight loss is observed they are being underfeed.
