Hello all!! I have a 80 gal Nuvo reef tank. I have been changing the socks weekly. It popped into my head that maybe I should change them more often. Any ideas??

Not so new anymore!
That depends on how dirty its getting. If the water level is rising towards the top of the sock then its time to change
