They grow quick, and have amazing bright color to them. You can see them from accross the room when they get big enough.

I'm starting to love them also...my girlfriend first picked out the large colony of the red ones I have...now I have three of them...
And your son would have fun at the museum, I thought my 4yo would have been bored, but he enjoyed himself also.
