Smitty's Reef

If you want smitty, I have some flatworm exit that you can barrow. It goes for almost 30 bucks for the little bottle. Worked great for me. Ive used it twice now. Once because of some zoa's I got from Aquatica and once from a frag I got from Chicago Reptile House. I have since started putting a drop or two in the bags while I acclimate.

Someone said that lugols will only help with fungus and infections but won't get rid of parasites and pests. True or not?

It works on alot of pests and parasites for me, i just mix r.o and a few drops of iodine depending on how much water

I believe that the RO water is what is doing in the parasites. Many of them cant handle the fresh water. But doing that is like a double whammy.

Ok, cool Bj...when/where can I meet you for it.

Good news...I've gotten rid of the flatworms. Thanks again Bj for the flatworn exit. :)

Here's an updated pic of the tank. Oh, by the way, I picked up 2 firefish gobies a few days ago, they've settled in nicely.

I dont know how parents deal with a 2 year old and an infant. Just having my friends daughter here for the day was nuts!!!! She crashed while in the car, that was why I was out driving around, needed to keep her sleeping for a bit
