Small, grey, mobile, appears to be eating my coralline

    I started a new tank last weekend. This guy came in on the piece of rock pictured. He appears to be eating my coralline. The aiptasia move when little grey thing gets too close, lol. What is he? Thanks!

    Asterina star...most just eat algae but some can munch on coral

    no worries unless you see him on coral all the time

    I'm not crazy about him eating the coralline and leaving those white patches. I'm inclined to remove him. Would he survive in the refugium or should I just flush him?

    If you have rock in your sump then it should be fine
