Skimmer Question again

Has anyone had any luck with a HOB SeaClone 150 Protein Skimmer?


Friend of mine is parting his tank because hes moving across country and only wants $20 for it. Is it worth it to buy til i get a better skimmer?

it wont do a very good job, but its better then no skimmer

yea they are great for a very lightly stocked tank or a very small one. i would spend the money on a good skimmer. in this hobby you get what you pay for.

OK was reading that it was up to 120g, Guess i'll keep looking. Found a nice octopus on ebay for around 150. Looks like i'll be getting that one instead.

Save your money for something else. SeaClones aren't worth the plastic they're made of.
