Setup changes?

I replace 50% of the media in the power filter with the weekly water change. I no longer have sponges on the power heads, I switched to Koralias. I think I will try running the filter empty, because I do like the flow. I've not had any major problems, I had just never heard about removing the power filter. Your tank is amazing, BTW. I hope to do one that size next time. I'm just waiting until I grow that 3rd kidney so I can sell it to buy the rock.

If I get rid of my Marineland 360 canister and my CPR bakpak and switch to a.......
currently have a 75gal mini-reef with 5 fish (2 clarkii, yellowhead goby, fishers angel, firefish)

or...should I just abandon the canister and stick with just the CPR bakpak and the Koralia #4's I have in the tank?
