I have baby serpents in my tank. Ive been trying to get a pic of them but they never come all the way out. I just see their little arms wiggling outside the rock. I know there are at least two about two inches long

Those are mini brittle stars, they'll never get much bigger then that.

They are safe to take out of the water. The LFS water for inverts is not as bad for your tank as fish water. That's because many LFS treat their fish tanks with copper as a preventative measure. But the invert water is not going to contain copper.
