You could probably, if you are willing, give a lawnmower blenny a shot. I loved mine, in spite of (or maybe because of) his ugly mug. Emeralds are great for hair algae, too.

Ahhh Erin, if only I could add a fish. I don't even care anymore if it's the ugliest one on the planet. (tho I love the LMBs) I'm pretty sure all LFS have alarm bells that are programmed to go off if I point and say "I'll take that one." ALERT ALERT, the fish killer is back! Step away from the tank. Choose a snail or a coral instead ma'am and no one gets hurt.

Sigh. The turbo has only moved an inch since I've put him in, just on the same rock I stuck him on and he hasn't touched any of the algae. I must'a gotten a dud. An underperforming dud. But, as he explained to me, it happens to all snails once in a while.

I added a bright yellow clown goby about 4 days ago. I lost my last one if you'll recall. He is quite a piggy and perches everywhere out in the open. I now have two fish. Cross your fingers for the little guy as he has now entered....THE TANK OF DOOM. I will add a picture today. And I want EVERYONE to oooh and ahhh over my totally unremarkable addition. I named him Zippy.
