the feathered starfish dont make it in captivity, even in the most mature of systems

didn't know that...i guess it is one of those species best left in the ocean ^^

My girlfriend bought me a feather star this weekend. I took it back to the store the next day because I knew i couldn't look after it properly :(

I only know of one person who has a feather starfish...they have a 700 gallon tank with the whole nine yards from a nitrate reactor to a chiller. His tank must cost several pretty pennies ^^
