I only recently got mine about 2 to 3 months back and he has already grown a bit, Hes maybe 4 inches maybe 4 1/2, got him about 1 inch ago lol.

How do you guys think a sailfin would do in a 150g tank? Its 6ft long but only 18" wide (instead of the 24" wide of a 180g)?

I have a chance to get a 150g tank for $250 bucks - seems like a pretty decent price to me to upgrade to a 6ft tank, just wondering if it will be enough....

Oh, and by the way, I want teacup tangs!!!

I think that tank would be fine for one. 6" in width isn't going to make a difference, especially since most of us have rocks taking up that space anyways.

Biff, how do you think a pink-tailed trigger would do in a 150? This is one of the fish I definitely want when I upgrade, and LA lists a minimum 180. Would it have trouble turning around in 18" width?

I can't really give any input on tank size here but I have to say that Sailfin Tangs are my absolute favorite fish in the hobby. No contest. I'm not sure why but I think they are the coolest fish I've ever seen. Hope you can work it out!
