FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet for omnivores, carnivores, herbivores, live, frozen, flake marine fare. Feed min. 2 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Excellent
CAPTIVE CARE - Will eat filamentous algae, and will not harm invertebrates, an excellent reef fish, very likable as a juvenile which can be keep in groups, however, as the fish matures it's true disposition as a very aggressive fish will emerge. Keep only in a moderately aggressive community tank and only with tankmates that can defend themselves, keep only one or a mated pair per tank, provide hiding places especially when young, this fish is a very hardy, boisterous fish that fares relatively well in an aggressive environment, will eat most anything offered.
