Reef devil skimmer good for 55g?

There's a LFS near me that hosts a forum...which has a classifieds section for people in the area. I'm getting a new skimmer and this guy has a reef devil for $100.
It seems like they come in several different models but I'm not sure which is his.
Would that be a good skimmer? Or is it too big or anything?

Downdraft skimmers are good, but they need a strong pump. Does that include a pump and what kind if it does?

Don't know, it doesn't say anything except reef devil skimmer "still works great but I'm using a different one yadda yadda..."

I'm going to guess it doesn't, as it's not mentioned. I'm having second thoughts though because from what I gather I won't be able to fit this behemoth in my stand.
