REEF COMPATIBILITY - May feed on smaller delicate shrimp, small fish, otherwise, excellent.
CAPTIVE CARE - The hawkfish acclimates well to captivity, may be shy until acclimated to system then can become aggressive towards newly introduced tankmates. If introduced at the same time more than one can be housed in a medium to large tank are not the same size, and if adequate hiding places are provided. Spends most of its time sitting in the open.
