what is the TDS of the water you are using to make your salt water? Ideally, you want it to be 10 or less

Ok so parents dont know there own water supply layout they told me the whole house uses RO water when in fact only to drinking taps use it the rest of our house uses sofend water.........sigh........Should I start using water right from the RO tap and do water changes/top ups?

Will be looking into running my own RO/DI line at some point soon.

Ok my tank is being over run with algae its a redish brown.

My Current clean-up crew is:

1 Cleaner Shrimp
3 Emerald Crab
2 Turbo Snails
3 Red Reef Hermit Crabs
10 Nassarius Snails
10 Cortez Hermit Crabs


Should I add more clean-up crew?

nothing really eats it. try red slime remover and check your water parameters. also try running your lights for less hours a day.
