Purple Fuzzy Crab

As the title says I am dealing with a purple fuzzy crab according to my GF who spotted the little bugger.

From some quick research it sounds like a Gorila crab but a second opinion would be helpful.

Unfortunatly no pics yet to help.

If it is a Gorila I need trap ideas to get it out as I assue they are not friendly.

If it has pointed claws its a bad guy. Pretty much all hitchhiker crabs are bad guys....I caught mine one night when I shined a light on him he hid in a small easy to get to rock. Snagged the rock and the rest was knife work. Take a flashlight in the middle of the night and go looking for him. They are night creatures thats when they are running around providing mischief...
