pump??

Does anyone use this pump? I'm looking to use it for a 220g with 75g sump. hoping to get atleast 10x water exchange.

What are your overflows rated at? If its standard overflows, I think you would have to dial this thing back with a ball valve to keep it from emptying your sump and/or overfilling your display tank

they are just standard 1'' bulkheads. Do you think I'll need a smaller pump? Like something around 2200gph. I have about a 5' rise

I have the standard overflow kit on mine, and my pump is rated at 1200 gph, but the head rating might be different. Personally, I think its better to have a pump sized correctly and running at WOT then one thats too big and has to be restricted in order to keep the water levels where they need to be
