I got a small frag of Pulsating Xenia from a friend. I placed it in my tank and it seems to be "laying" down. Is this normal behavior? Can I expect it to perk up?
Xenias generally look pretty pitiful when first introduce.Low-moderate flow and moderate to high lighting,in about a week,it should adjust and hopefully pulsate.
Pretty much.
Xenia generally love a new system.Their one of those corals that seem to do great when theres some phosphates and nitrates present.
Well I moved them to a rock where they can get more current. I'm pretty sure the xenia is doing better, it is opening and looks good. It actually looks ALIVE. Thanks for all the help!
Ill see what I can do. I've never posted pictures on the net before. Im sure its not too hard. Do I just click add attachments down below the message box?
