Powerhead Question

I'm getting some Koralia powerheads. I went to Ebay, they have some that say circulation and some say wave. What is the difference ? And which do I want in my 90 ?

They have straight up circulation pumps that you switch "on" and leave on, unless performing maintenance of course. They also sell a "controllable" version that can be used with their wave maker. You'll want at least 20Xs the turnover from your powerheads. I think Biff said she has 3 K3's??? So however you can come to 1800gph would work well.

I wish my LFS sold their new Evolution series, they're smaller and more efficient.

If your buying on Ebay, check out Aloha Aquariums store. Also known as elegantreef. They usually have the best price on Koralia pumps. I would start out with 3 K3s and go from there

I use four K3s in my 90. Plus the two returns from the sump.
