plenum or not????

i have been reading up on the GARF method of tank setup

anybody have an opinion on the plenum method they suggest??

or on their garf grunge??

im thinking of trying the plenum, unless i hear otherwise

Plenums are old technology the newest (and best IMO) way to set a tank up it the Berlin method. 1-2 lbs of live rock with a skimmer and a shallow sand bed. I have heard mixed reviews of their GARF grunge ranging from saying that it was gravel and detrious to the best thing since sliced bread.

Plenums are not commonly setup nowadays, they can be difficult to maintain.

I have used GARF grunge and am one of the people that give it a thumbs up. In the past, I've used it to seed new live rock and new sandbeds. I think it's good stuff.
