We own a wildlife foundation,and we use him in educational outreach programs,and were trying to start a breeding program for ocelots,Chiriqui feline center in panama wants to send us a female to start but panama is black listed by the US for importation of animals,they don't follow our quarantine protocol,and there only 5 ocelots in NY that I kno of and 2 are owned by private individuals and our is the only male,were in Cicero alllllll the time I'm sure we could stop by with a few of our animals lol,I'm pretty she he won't be happy in a zoo,only AZA accreted zoo's in NY are able to afford them and have proper permits and for the most part,and you can no longer release endangured species back to the wild from the US,any exotic cat also.
