so im so annoyed with this skimmer bull sh**.... but right now i just have the thing unplugged till i get the right sized pump. anyway... i took my airstone out because the skimmer was there... welll now theres neither... my question is this: will my hob filter be enough to oxygenate the water for a day or two? its input is right at the water level so its not making bubbles but it does move the water... and the surface. its a hagen 20 on my 10 gal nano

I once turned off my Skimmer on my RSM because it was making noise and I lost 2 fish overnight. I would leave your air stone going.

If it's stirring up the surface of the water pretty good it should be tansfering enough O2. It definitly won't hurt to run an airstone though.

yeae i know... my water level is almost pouring over so adding an airstone would require siphoning some off... im just so over tweaking fish things for today haha ive been working on the skimmer for hours...

Just watch your fish for signs of them gasping for air.
