over flow to sump

"YA CANT FIX STUPID"
do you folk's think that if I just hard pipe this down from the OF to the sump in 1" there would be a problem?? I know they give you the peice of 1 1/2" flex hose but it's tight..like REAL tight maybe 10".. ( middle pic) it would be much easier to hard pipe it ,but if it's not gonna give me enough flow then? I gotta ballvaulve it somewhere close to the OF just incase of an emergency on that side. on the other side I got 2,1 from OF and 1 on a bypass on the main pump back to into the sump, but what I'm worried about is not enough flow from the OF to the sump GRRRR!!!:frustrat:

Why not just come out of the bulkhead with a small piece of pipe, then immediatley into the ball vale, then convert to a vinyl hose? That will do the tight turn you have. OR, can you get in there with two 45's to sidestep into your sump? They even have street 45's if it's real tight...
